We can see forest, many water, swamp town to the north and candidates for the King in the North title of course. There are more then ten factions. -- msta [fs9] =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Captain Jaloy was pleased. She checked the sails and made a slight correction to the helmsman, but overall, the ship was trimmed perfectly. The departure had been uneventful as the ship slipped her moorings with the tide early that morning. "Petty Officer Reyna!", she shouted. "Go below and inform our passengers that dinner is at six bells." The seaman turned pale. "Ma'am, nobody is onboard. I saw a group of nobles going ashore to Bumbling Bart's on the mid-watch." Jaloy sighed. "Right full rudder", she ordered, "steady course 270." -- Slash Y [rb8] =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Dead cats in oil-stained burlap bags, smelly bodies of long dead wise men, whispers of fallen spirits and hideous hags, line of royal olympian blood and evil semen. Well G4 got off to a good start and looking at the number of new entrants last month we look like having a real contest on our hands. And sources are saying this month is shaping up pretty solid as well. Now we cross to Bentor in Newleaf for a look at the latest Safe Haven Round-up, Ben? Thanks Will. The safe havens have been remarkably quiet for the number of new factions starting and some people are predicting the rule change at the beginning of the season, allowing random starts is really impacting the game as we know it. A few of the older players have expressed some concern that this is a negative step. A senior figure who wished not to be named said this, "Three seasons we've been perfecting our first few months strategy and now it's likely when we get to a big island there will be some clueless noob there we can't intimidate who has had a four month start. You mark my words there will be fighting in the first year and who wants that?" And now back to Will in the Studio. Thanks Ben. Well that's all we have time for this month. Hope all your plays go according to plan and see you next month. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= It s a very nice little island! Necromancy teachers want to learn me and roaming at swamps now. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Lands of Loss and Sorrow Trees hewn down, quarries emptied and lands unpopulated of their native inhabitants! There is nothing here for you to gain since Vikos is overpopulated with nobles of all factions, harvesting Eser's soil, laying the mountains, forests and fields to waste, claiming the population as their willing slaves. There is no use in lingering any longer in these deprived lands. Thus, nobles of Olympia, it seems to be most wise to depart the shores of Eser and set foot on fairer grounds. There you can find a future of prosperity, striving for your personal glory. But beware, not all foreign shores are safe for you to disembark on. Heed the warnings, listen to the rumors and choose wisely whom to exasperate. Safe journey to all of you! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= No heavy-weights in the arena? No land claims? No public outcries? No early propaganda? Hardly a surprise, since all one can see for now are some old farts and loudmouths, an infamous mercenary, and a newbie raping bunch of apocalyptomaniacs and some pretty green alliances. Alas, we shall remain in the calm before the storm and bid our time (read: make clay pots). =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
